DESCRIPTION

All prayer is concerned with healing in its fullest sense, as whenever we pray, we open ourselves to receive God's transforming love. When we pray for others, we are offering ourselves as channels for that same healing love. The prayers in this exquisite collection recognize that each of us is bruised, weary, or hurt in some way, and that strong or weak, we stand alongside each other in our common need of God's forgiveness and love. Containing prayers for ourselves, for others, and for special times and needs, A Little Book of Healing Prayer is itself an inspiration and a tonic.
