When humans interact, conflicts are inevitable. It is no different in the church. Clashes arise because people come from varied backgrounds and experiences. But as Dr. Griffin stresses, conflicts need not be negative and can in fact be turned into good. The ability to accept and manage our conflicts can be harnessed to sharpen the Church corporately and to strengthen its community. Dr. Griffin also examines the sources of conflict within the church. He suggests that the key to care-giving and the building of bonds is conflict management.
