DESCRIPTION

Covering areas such as knowing God, what it means to be disciples, being part of the church, sharing our faith, and Christian involvement in the local community, this book looks at growing in the Christian faith after confirmation. It presents the key to Christian growth as spiritual balance - growing in a number of key areas of the faith. It includes nine chapters covering different aspects of growth:knowing God (two chapters); discipleship; love for each other; telling others about your faith; serving the local community; belonging to the wider Christian church. The final chapter includes a "growth audit" test to help the reader establish their own priorities for spiritual growth. The book is aimed at confirmation candidates, clergy planning confirmation course and study/cell group leaders, and anyone looking for a "growing in faith", discipling book. It is an ideal gift for newly confirmed late teens and adults.
