DESCRIPTION

The Minor Prophets' messages of doom and judgment have not been popular subjects with Christians, so they are a neglected part of the Bible.

Yet their messages contain some of the strongest images of God's passionate love for His people even in their waywardness (Hosea), His compassion for the Gentiles (Jonah), and his concern for social justice (Amos). And they clearly promise hope in the midst of judgement (Joel).

Ray Markham brings the Minor Prophets to life and makes their messages practical, personal and relevant to the 21st century.

Each chapter delves into the prophetic book and then poses thought-provoking questions framed as if the prophet himself were speaking directly to you.

This valuable and informative guide will surprise you with some fascinating gems as it clearly shows that the Minor Prophets' messages are anything but minor!
