DESCRIPTION

Senn uses a comparative studies approach to trace the story of Christian liturgy, exploring anthropology, biblical studies, general history, church history, historical theology, and musicology. His ecumenical perspective focuses on liturgical practices that are "catholic"---in continuity with the whole historic tradition---and "evangelical"---Gospel-centered in its forms of proclamation and celebration.
