DESCRIPTION

If you've ever attended a major event, chances are it was held in a well-known, thriving city, booming with excitement and anticipation. However, in the ancient times of the Bible, the barren and dry land of Beersheba, the small and irrelevant village of Nazareth, and the poor and unimportant town of Capernaum were some of the locations God chose to host events that would change the future of the entire world.

In this 6 lesson interactive study, you'll travel to modern day Israel to take a closer look at:

• Beersheba, where God made a covenant with Abraham that established the Jewish nation and caused the beginning of the kingdom of Israel
• Nazareth, to see where Jesus lived, uncover more about His life, and get a better understanding of why His ministry began there
• Capernaum, where Jesus went to proclaim a message of repentance, focusing on the heart and not the traditions of the religious leaders
