TELLY AWARD WINNER & THE COMMUNICATOR AWARD WINNER!
Synopsis from the back of the DVD cover:
The late 1960s and the early 1970s were a time of tremendous upheaval in American culture as the hippie generation abandoned the values of their parents, turned to drugs, away from materialism, and went on a search for love and peace. It was out of this tumultuous era that young musical voices began to surface. These newly converted musicians began singing about the hope they had through Jesus Christ.
This commemorative edition includes 2 DVDs and 2 CDs...examining the life and music of the artistes who birthed the sounds of revolution that swept American culture. It became known as the Jesus movement. This powerful move of God shook the youth culture across the United States and eventually around the world. These are the pioneers and musical prophets to their generation that created modern Contemporary Christian Music.
In a remarkable reunion spanning three historic days, First Love documents incredible live performances and captures a rare look at the hearts and motives of these artistes, revealing intimate details as they describe the drama of their personal transformations.
