God’s plan for a meaningful life.

God loves you and wants you to live a meaningful life now and to live with Him forever in heaven.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10

But many people are unhappy and have no sense of purpose in life. Everything seems meaningless.

Why is this? Why are so many people without peace or joy?

Sin is the problem.

The Bible teaches us that in the beginning God created man to please God.

The reason we lack purpose and satisfaction in life is that we choose to go our own way, to do wrong, to disobey God. This is sin, which separates us from God, the only source of true joy.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

There is not a righteous man on earth who does what is right and never sins. Ecclesiastes 7:20

The whole world is a prisoner of sin. Galatians 3:22

Jesus Christ is the answer!

Jesus Christ is the only one who can give genuine and lasting meaning to life. He died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. He died in our place to bring us to God, and He rose from the dead to give us the gift of new life. In this way He was dealing with our most basic problem.

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree. 1 Peter 2:24

Christ died for sins...to bring you to God. 1 Peter 3: 18

The key to a meaningful life:

Trust in Jesus Christ.

God wants you to have a meaningful life both now and forever. And this gift of new life can be yours only if you trust Jesus Christ to save you from your sins.

Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved. Acts 16:31

Everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name. Acts 10:43

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13

How to become a child of God:

1. Admit that your life is meaningless and that you are a sinner, unable to save yourself.

2. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross.

3. Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and give you the free gift of life both now and forever in heaven.

Pray a prayer something like this:

Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner and that my life has little meaning. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I ask You to forgive me of my sins, and now I put my trust in You as my Savior. Thank You for giving me the gift of new life now and forever. Amen.

If you have asked Jesus to be your

Savior, your life will become

meaningful as never before.

You will have peace.

Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1

You will have joy.

I have told you this, [Jesus said], so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. John 15:11

You will have forgiveness.

In him we have redemption through

his blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Ephesians 1:7

You will have assurance of heaven.

I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish. John 10:28

You will have God’s love and care.

Cast all your anxiety on him because

he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
