DESCRIPTION
Run the Race, a 6-session study on the book of 2 Timothy, offers encouragement to persevere as a Christian in this world.Written near the end of Paul's life, this emotional letter to Timothy, his son in the faith, urges him to persevere and finish the race, as he has done. In a fast-paced world such as ours, where everything is new, exciting but short-lived, the challenge of 2 Timothy is: Will our Christian lives be the same? Will we start with a blaze of joy and enthusiasm, only to lose the plot when things get difficult? Or will we persevere, like Paul, keeping hold of the Word of truth, preserving it carefully, living our lives by it, and faithfully passing it on to others? An ideal guide for individual Bible study or for use in small groups.
