DESCRIPTION

Dan B. Allender and Tremper Longman III have together designed this curriculum kit to help married couples--one-to-one or in small groups--to build healthy and happy marriages. The kit includes everything you need to lead a course in your small group or church: Allender and Longman's thought-provoking book, copies of seven different study guides, a leader's guide and a DVD to introduce and enhance the study sessions. The Intimate Marriage Curriculum Kit will be especially helpful for newlyweds or young married couples who are just beginning their new life together.

Included in this kit:

• The Intimate Mystery/HC - a book that introduces the key concepts for a healthy marriage: leaving your family of origin, weaving a life together and cleaving to each other with a fulfilling sexual life
• The Goal of Marriage - the companion 6-session study guide for The Intimate Mystery and the guide to use to launch your marriage small group
• Intimate Marriage Bible Studies - a library of marriage study guides (each with 6 sessions) for further use by small groups or couples: (1) Communication, (2) Dreams and Demands, (3) Family Ties, (4) Forgiveness, (5) Male & Female and (6) Sexual Intimacy.
• Intimate Marriage/DVD - a collection of 3 - 5 min video clips of Dan Allender teaching and couples talking about their marriages to open each Bible study session
• Intimate Marriage Leader's Guide - containing helps and sermon outlines for leaders and pastors, as well as a drama that brings out the themes of this series for use in a worship service.

"Every marriage needs this series--including mine. But working on your marriage alone is hard. That's why the interactive DVD and small group components put this series in a league of its own. Pursuing marital growth in community with other like-minded journeyers will make this experience powerful and deeply rewarding. Use it together to enhance the most exciting, yet challenging, relationship on the planet." — Bill Donahue, Willow Creek Association, author of In the Company of Jesus and Leading Life-Changing Small Groups
