DESCRIPTION

A landmark study on Paul's teachings on male-female relationships. Offering a careful critical examination, Payne rigorously analyzes social, cultural, and religious influences on the apostle; his statements about women who were colleagues in ministry; and the theological principles that undergird his affirmations concerning the equal standing of men and women in Christ.
