The Reformation revolutionized church life through its new appreciation for God's presence working through the Bible. Coinciding with the five hundredth anniversary of the genesis of the Reformation, Martin Luther and the Enduring Word of God explains how Luther's revolutionary approach to the Bible drew his colleagues and contemporary followers into a Scripture-centered practice of theology and pastoral leadership. With cutting-edge research that offers fresh insights, world-class scholar Dr. Robert Kolb examines the Reformer's work as professor, preacher, and translator; explains how the Wittenberg circle grew around him; and shows how students then continued his work in subsequent generations.
