DESCRIPTION

Drawing upon a lifetime of experience as a New Testament professor and a persuasive preacher, Dr. James Earl Massey gives us a unique combination of resources in Preaching from Hebrews. The first half of the book is Massey's own expository commentary on the Epistle to the Hebrews. The last half is a preacher's guide to key themes of the book that are especially relevant to today's listeners, including a selection of sermons that Massey has preached from Hebrews. One might call this a preaching workshop in a book. It gives ministry students and active pastors the kind of scholarly insight and practical pastoral application that would normally be found in several days of conference study.
