The Bible you've always been waiting for is finally here!

The Ultimate Source of Spiritual Transformation...in one of the most accurate yet readable translation...

From the wellsprings of life come a flowing river of God's peace and a touch of His presence to those who reach out to its awesome depths. Yet many of us were left to dry out in the heat of the wilderness of life as we fail to soak in His courts. But many a time our probing into the Word seem futile and dry...meaningless and arid. Bible study and reading has become a mere intellectual exercise void of the heart and spirit.

This is where this powerful work comes in.

It is a collaborated culmination of years of research and writing by acclaimed contemporary writers on Christian Spirituality such as best-selling writer Richard Foster and Dallas Willard.

As the brainchild of Renovare, an intrachurch organization committed to the renewal of the Church via its manifold expressions, this unique work combines the depth of a study bible with the warmth of a devotional bible. Along with the critically acclaimed New Revised Standard Version (which has been the standard staple of divinity schools and universities all across the academic world in the UK) of the English bible, the Renovare Spiritual Formation Bible is one magnum opus you will not put down.

Central to its theme and focus is the "with-God life", a communal devotion with the Lord in His Presence as seen throughout the pages of Scripture. From God's covenant with His chosen people of Israel to the New Covenant with the Church, the intimacy of relationship is broadened and strengthened through the practice of the spiritual disciplines that has been the hallmark of Christian spirituality since the dawn of the Church. The devotional quality of prayer and communion with the Lord, the practice of solitude and His presence, the art of reading the Word as love letter to one's heart - all of these draws us closer to the embrace of the Father.

Combining the highest possible of biblical scholarship with the deepest possible heart devotion, this bible seeks to nourish inner transformation by unlocking and revealing the profound resources within Scripture for changing hearts and lives.

Acclaimed scholars included in this work include: Thomas Oden, Dallas Willard, Walter Brueggemann, Marva Dawn, Walter Kaiser, Tremper Longman III, Eugene Peterson, Ben Witherington, etc.

RENOVARE is an interchurch movement committed to the renewal of the Church in all its multifaceted expressions. Founded by bestselling author and speaker Richard Foster, RENOVARE is Christian in commitment, international in scope and ecumenical in breadth.
