Synopsis from Harvest House:

Millions of Christians and non–Christians have purchased The Purpose–Driven Life, inspired or intrigued by Rick Warren’s teachings and his way of “doing church.”

Now, bestselling author Richard Abanes—a former staff member at Warren’s church—takes a balanced, positive look at the controversy over the “purpose–driven” concepts, offering

• a concise history of Warren’s work and an inside view of the man himself
• a user–friendly point/counterpoint section addressing criticisms and concerns—and correcting misperceptions
• an exclusive interview with Warren that asks the questions people want answers to

Christians will find help understanding the issues. The general reader will come away informed about—even inspired by—the story of a man and what his God is doing through him.
