Robert Murray McCheyne's short but remarkable life had an ordinary start in Edinbugh, Scotland. However, McCheyne is mostly remembered for his fervent prayer and devotional life. He spent two hours daily in meditation and prayer, including an hour devoted to people of the Jewish faith.
On Sundays he would spend six hours in prayer and devotional reading. He felt strongly about prayer and worship that he developed a calendar to encourage people to read once through the Old Testament and twice through the New Testament and Psalms each year.
Although McCheyne died at age thirty, his devout life and passionate ministry continue to inspire believers. This compilation captures some of his life-changing messages for a new generation of believers.
