DESCRIPTION

All the stories in this book--one for every day in the year--come from the Bible. Not everything in the Bible could possibly have been squeezed into this book, so the author Mary Batchelor picked out the most exciting stories and the best-loved ones. The Bible shows what God is like, and because God never changes and human nature stays the same, the Bible is always up-to-date.

With paintings by John Haysom, this updated, revised, and understandable paraphrase features a Bible story for each day with a text based on the Good News Bible. It has 416 pages, and measures 6 3/4 inches by 9 3/4 inches. Recommended for ages 8 to 12.
