DESCRIPTION
Young David is chosen by God to take his place as king of the land when the current king, Saul, made God very angry by disobeying God's commands. God blesses David and he even manages to save the land by defeating the horrible giant Goliath!
King Saul is so pleased that he invites the young hero to stay with him in the palace, where he meets the beautiful princess Michal and falls in love with her. Alas! As David becomes more popular with the people, the jealous King Saul decides to kill him. But God continues to protect him and allows him to flee into the wilderness unharmed. After several unsuccessful attempts on David's life, King Saul himself is killed by an invading army.
Hearing this, David leads a group of men to recapture the city, thus reuniting with his lost love and taking his rightful place as King.
