With a star-studded cast which includes acclaimed British actor Michael York (Austin Powers, Night of the Fox, The Island of Dr Moreau), Casper Van Dien of Starship Troopers fame as well as Michael Ironside (Total Recall, Highlander 2, The Next Karate Kid), this production is destined to be one of Trinity Broadcasting Network's (TBN) most daring multi-visual endeavor to date (as of 1999).

Van Dien stars as renowned motivational speaker Dr. Gillen Lane who has just finished publishing his latest book. As a foremost authority on mythology and religion, Dr. Lane's intellectual pursuits led him on a journey out of his childhood Christianity into atheism.

He is the epitome of the self-help guru...the paragon of the cult of the self.

Yet his flirtations with destiny came to a halt when he came to his first chance encounter with media mogul and political newbie Stone Alexander (played by Michael York), who exploded into the local political scene only in recent months. Yet this "rookie" stunned the world by uncannily being at the right place at the right time. Event after event, Alexander appeared to have a hand in them. Persuaded into the cause by Alexander's charismatic presence, Dr. Lane soon became his spokesperson and main PRman.

The man of perdition.

Soon, he was entangled in a web of deceit that would send him on a journey of self-discovery and spiritual awakening - and a face to face encounter with the one they called Lucifer, the antichrist.

This is a spectacular struggle between the forces of good and evil, and a bold fictional account of the days before the end of days.

Whether one agrees with the "bible code" premise, one dares not refute the utter force and impact of the stark reality of the last days and what they mean to the disciple of Jesus Christ.
