DESCRIPTION

LIFE Worship is a team of worship musicians and singers from a church called LIFE in Auckland, New Zealand. LIFE, led by Senior Pastors Paul and Maree de Jong, is a church that has grown to become an influential ministry, both nationally and internationally, since it began in 1991. LIFE has continued to grow, and is now situated in multiple campuses throughout the city. Additionally, LIFE has campuses in Warkworth, and more recently Melbourne, Australia.

LIFE has sought to live out its mission statement: "To impact and change our generation with the reality of Jesus." Since LIFE Worship’s first album, For Freedom, the team has had many ups and downs. From cancer, to head-on car crashes, their journey through life is reflected in the songs they have captured on their new album, 'Through The Fire'. What does it actually sound like to have a song in the valley of the shadow? What is the confession that comes in times of fire?

This LIFE Worship album is unique in that the songs have been born not out of an idea of what fire and hardship are like, but out of being in the very middle of those circumstances. It will inspire you to fix your eyes on Jesus, and encourage your spirit to get up and go again.
