DESCRIPTION
As she finds out more about herself and the strange creature Tomo, Hana learns how protecting the sword from those who would use it for evil can bring on big trouble in book two of the manga-style Tomo series written by Jim Kreuger with illustration by Ariel Padilla.
When You’re Fighting Two Battles, You Need a Friend to Watch Your Back. Hana must defend herself against bullies at school, then face otherworldly warriors at home! Fortunately, she learns she’s not the only new ninja in town. Tomo, her grandfather’s weird little pet, has some pretty amazing moves of his own. Together they form a powerful team. But can they keep the evil forces of Argon Falls from taking the Spirit Sword?
Jim Krueger is one of the top-rated writers currently working in American comics. In addition to creating his own comics properties, his projects include the prestigious X Trilogy from Marvel Comics, and Justice from DC Comics.
Ariel has been drawing comics for the past fifteen years in the Philippines. His most recent work has been on the relaunch of the eighties comic series The Maze Agency for IDW Publishing.
