TRACT TEXT

What a great day this is!

It’s time for birthday cards, presents, and maybe even a party!

This is a special day where people celebrate YOU, because they are happy that you were born!

But did you know that you can be born AGAIN? Yep. That’s what God says.

John 3:7
Don’t be surprised…you must be born again.

It’s not the same as when you were a baby, this birth is about becoming a new person on the INSIDE!

How do we do this? Here’s GOD’S way: The bad things we do and think, called sins, keep us apart from God and out of His family.

Isaiah 59:2
Your sins have cut you off from
God. Because of sin he has
turned his face away from you
and will not listen anymore.

But Jesus will take away our sins when we ask Him to.

That’s because He was punished instead of us when He died on the cross.

Then He rose again, and will live in heaven forever, with His whole family.

1 Peter 3:18
He [Jesus] died once for the sins of all us guilty sinners…that he might bring us safely home to God.

What a great thing to celebrate!

You can be born into God’s family when you pray something like this:

Dear God, I know I sin and do wrong things that keep me away from You. I believe that Jesus was punished for my sins, that He rose again and will live forever. Please forgive me and make me part of Your family.
