Tract Text
The movie Transformers is about a boy named Sam who has an amazing experience with his car. His beat-up yellow Camaro is transformed into a giant robot called Bumblebee.
Sam needs to hear what Bumblebee would like him to know, but it is difficult for him to understand because Bumblebee was wounded and lost his voice. Furthermore, the evil Megatron and his Decepticons want to get to Sam first.
Sam came to realize that he needed Bumblebee’s help, so he did all that he could to free Bumblebee. Once freed, Bumblebee and his Autobot friends, Optimus Prime, Jazz, and Ironhide, overcame Megatron and his Decepticons. Sam and earth were saved!
Like Sam, we need help. The Bible says that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23 ). And “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23).
Like Bumblebee, Jesus has something He wants to tell us. We need to know that “Christ died for our sins…he was buried…[and] was raised on the third day” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
Just as Sam needed Bumblebee’s help, we need Jesus’ help to be saved. Jesus died for our sins as our substitute. He took our place and rose again from the dead, proving that He paid the complete penalty for our sin.
If you will put your trust in Jesus, you can be transformed too!
“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:2)
