DESCRIPTION
You Are Special A Story about Self-Worth
The small wooden people called Wemmicks do the same thing every day: stick either gold stars or gray dots on one another. The pretty ones, those with smooth wood and fine paint, always get stars. Others, though, who can do little or who have chipped paint, get ugly gray dots, like Punchinello. Eli the woodcarver helps Punchinello understand how special he is--no matter what other Wemmicks may think. This story teaches children that no matter how others judge their worth, God cherishes them just as they are.
Punchinello and the Most Marvellous Gift A Story about Giving
The whole town is bustling to get ready for Maker Day, Hans is baking his seven-layer Chocolate Cherry Truffle Cake with Double Butter-cream Frosting. Violet is putting the finishing touches on her mountainous bouquet. And Punchinello is just baffled. He has nothing that would even compare to their fabulous creations. Yet, in the midst of the celebration, something goes terribly awry and Punchinello comes to the rescue with the most precious gift of all-a gift from the hearts of all Wemmicks to honor the Maker on his special day. Children will take away a lesson about the value of a gift from the heart.
