DESCRIPTION

We all have questions regarding another Christian denomination or tradition. Many a time our questions revolve around doctrinal and theological issues, some times even on certain practices unique to that denomination and tradition.

However, we never question their "christian" origins and orthodoxy...with the exception of the occasional "cult" or two.

But what about the Catholic tradition? Many of us Protestants have this propensity to categorize the Catholic tradition as amongst the "cults" or "un-christian". Many a time such a judgment is based on presuppositions on the Catholic faith that are not true.

In order to refute a position accurately, we have to know what the exact position is. Many a time what we think about the Catholic Faith as true are mere fallacies and caricatures.

This book, written by former Protestant and convert to the Catholic faith, Al Kresta, attempts to explain the Catholic tradition in a FAQ format which is simple to digest and understand.

Issues discussed include Sacred Scripture and Tradition, Papal authority, the Marian dogmas, the Communion of the Saints, etc.
