This bible has been America's best selling children's bible, with over 2.5 million copies sold!

Coupled with the popular yet erudite NIV translation of the Bible, this bible is a must have for generations of children to come.

Filled with great adventures and exciting features, The NIV Adventure Bible opens a fresh new encounter with the Scriptures for children, especially at a time when they are trying to develop their own ideas and opinions independent of their parents. With a direct encounter with the hammer of God's Word, hearts of human opinion will be divided, cut asunder with the sword of the Spirit.

Look for these in-text features, designed to spark a "holy" curiosity.

• Life in Bible Times helps children to understand what it was like to live in biblical times. For visual appeal, each box includes a color picture.
• People in Bible Times acquaints the readers with biblical characters - prominent as well as the more "difficult" ones, such as distinguishing Zephaniah from Zechariah, Jehoshaphat and Joash.
• Words to Treasure highlights popular verses to aid children in memorizing them.
• Did You Know? reveals many of the interesting trivia found in the Bible, the facts and the figures.
• Let's Live It! suggests activities, such as playing games and drawing pictures to reinforce the biblical lessons.

There is also a dictionary/concordance at the back of the Bible for those tricky slippery words.

In addition to the above great features, there are Book Introductions which aid in dispensing useful information about the basic facts revolving around each book of the Bible - authorship, geographics, literary rationale. There are also full-colour pages throughout with more interesting information about the bible and what it means to be a Christian.

  A must-read and must-own bible for children!
